USACE chooses Omega to provide a Wide Area Private Network
Omega announced today that the USACE has selected
Omega Security International, LLC to provide a Private network for several
offices as a pilot. The pilot program for WAPN is a private
network solution that offers the federal Government a
more safe and efficient was to transfer information without
touching the public network. “This solution grew
from a need of security between locations. VPN is a great
product, but some agencies will not let their information
travel over the internet” said Paul Curlee, VP of
Sales Operations. “This cost effective solution
allows our customer to have a secure T-1 solution at the
DSL price.” Omega has introduced several innovated
products over the last six months. This product is the
latest to hit the market place.
