DESCRIPTION OF SEAPORT-E
 

SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. 

The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corp, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements among 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. 
The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from among the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. 
All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform. 
Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.

TEAM INFORMATION

Omega is the prime contractor on this contract and our team member is Northrop Grumman.  Northrop Capabilities are located on the following link:  Capabilities.   Omega is also a subcontractor under Northrop Grumman's SeaPort-e contract number N00178-04-D-4091.

 

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM
Omega employs a rigorous quality assurance plan in every customer engagement.
It employs Testing and Quality Assurance (TQA) on the specific solution to validate through demonstration that the solution is complete as specified during analysis, design, and construction.
Its Risk Management / Quality Control / Quality Assurance regime (grounded in the Software Engineering Institute’s Risk Taxonomy Methodology), identifies and mitigates risks among related solutions and across the entire program.
And, its overall Quality Assurance Plan serves to ensure “whole firm” involvement in reviewing deliverables, in assessing performance, and in ensuring the highest and most consistent level of customer satisfaction.
